CHHSP Diploma 2 Year Full Time Program Combined Distance
Windsong College of Healing Arts offers the Certified Holistic Health and Shiatsu Practitioner Diploma in an 69 week Full Time Combined Distance where each Module is credited towards the Diploma leading toward the Certified Holistic Health Practitioner™ and Integrated Shiatsu Therapist Professional Titles. Each module builds learning towards the practice as a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner™. This offering is Full Time for 69 weeks split over 2 years with an expected minimum study time of 22 hours per week Online and 35 hours per week Onsite. Courses required are Oriental Bodywork, Energy Medicine, Meridian Floor Shiatsu, and Elemental Iridologist (Course Descriptions & Objectives) Courses include #100 220 hours of Anatomy Physiology Pathology Holistic Health Connection (APPHHC) and # 106 Ethics & Business. The Two Year Offering has 27 weeks Onsite Training and more time in online learning to review theory and course content at a slower pace than the Intensive 11 months.
The Distance Combined Studies method of program is Designated to be student loan eligible, HRDC eligible, Educational Fund Eligible, and Bank Student Line of credit eligible. We are Designated by the EQA for foreign students to obtain Study Visas for the duration of the program.
What are the benefits of taking the course as the Distance Combined in 69 weeks over Two Years?
You study over a longer period of time than the Full Intensive Course Load and are Student Loan and Funding Eligible for Full time Studies. There are two separate Onsite sessions in the two years where you complete your Case Study Practicals with supervised guidance.
As a 2 Year Student you can lengthen the time of your online study and organize your Onsite study for shorter periods that add up to 17 weeks per Scheduled Session and allow you to get your Case Study Sessions completed prior to finishing the program by distance.
The assignments have deadlines. You are required to study at a set pace and attend Online Seminars twice weekly. This ensures that you are on track, keeping up, and that any questions you have are answered by your Instructors quickly.
If you are prone to procrastination or need assistance with your study habits, the Distance Combined forces you to keep up with your assignments. Remember Instructor Contact is provided even though you are not in classroom.
You will become familiar with the students taking the course before you get practical/onsite studies. Many already forge friendships before meeting in person.
The Distance portion of your learning can be done any time of day. Weekly seminars are scheduled Mondays and either Wednesdays or Thursdays (times may vary to accommodate international students) Pacific Standard Time for 1 hour to help you schedule and clarify concepts. You will visit subjects twice online to help you deepen your understanding of core concepts.
You will do your Case Studies Reports and Healership skills Business Plans in your hometown by distance, allowing you to create client awareness of your practice prior to opening.
